Shopkeeper: Which kind do you like?

Customer: I don’t know, sir. I need to buy a pair of shoes.

Shopkeeper: How about this? This is a very popular brand.

Customer: Are they comfortable?

Shopkeeper: Yes, sir. They are made of leather.

Customer: Can you show me the other ones?

Shopkeeper: Sure, sir. Here are the other ones.

Customer: It’s like real jewelry, but it’s made of plastic or metal.

Shopkeeper: Oh, I see. So you want fake jewelry?

Customer: “Wow, that’s great! I can’t believe it!”

Shopkeeper: “I know. They’re pretty amazing, aren’t they?”

Customer: “I think they’re beautiful! Can I have one?”

Shopkeeper: “Sure. Here, take this one. It’s only 200 INR.

Customer: “Thank you so much! They’re gorgeous! I love them!”

Shopkeeper: “They’re really nice. I’m glad you like them.”

Conversation Between Shopkeeper and Customer Complain About a Product or Service

Conversation 1:

Customer: “I ordered a pair of pants from your store, but they’re not as advertised.”

Shopkeeper: “I’m sorry you didn’t receive what you expected.”

Customer: “The pants are too big.”

Shopkeeper: “I understand that you’re unhappy with the size of the pants, but I’m not sure why you’re upset.”

Customer: “I bought these pants because they were cheap.”

Shopkeeper: “That may be the case, but if you purchased them for the price you paid, then you should be satisfied with the results.”

Customer: “I was promised that these pants would fit perfectly.”

Shopkeeper: “I’m sorry you’re unhappy with the quality of the pants. I can give you a refund if you want to exchange them for another pair.”

Customer: “I want a refund!”

Shopkeeper: “I’m afraid I can’t do that.”

Customer: “But I want my money back!”

Shopkeeper: “I’m sorry, but I can’t offer a refund. If you purchased the pants at a lower price, you’d have to pay the difference.”

Customer: “I didn’t purchase them for the price you quoted me.”

Shopkeeper: “Then why did you buy them?”

Customer: “I wanted to save some money.”

Shopkeeper: “You paid full price for the pants. If you’re unhappy with the quality of the product, you should return it for a refund.”

Customer: “I don’t want to return the pants.”

Shopkeeper: “Then you have no choice but to accept the fact that you received what you paid for.”

Customer: “I don’t want to accept it!”

Shopkeeper: “Then you’ll have to live with it.”

Customer: “I want my money back!”

Shopkeeper: “I’m sorry, but I can’t do that.”

Customer: “I don’t want to accept it!”

Shopkeeper: If you do not want the item, you must either take it or leave it. You cannot demand a refund. Thank you.

Conversation 2:

Shopkeeper: Welcome to our shop, sir.

Customer: Thank you.

Shopkeeper: How can I help you, sir?

Customer: I bought a watch here yesterday. It was quite cheap, but the case broke when I took it out of the box.
