CBSE PRAYOG: The National Education Policy 2020 has introduced numerous changes and initiatives in the Indian education system. One such initiative is the CBSE Prayog program, which offers a mandatory online training program to principals across the country. The program aims to equip principals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively implement the NEP 2020 in their CBSE-affiliated schools. This blog post will discuss the various aspects of the CBSE Prayog program, including its process, and the training schedule in India.
CBSE PRAYOG: An Online Training Program For Principals
PRAYOG Online Training Program for Principals is a training program initiated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. The program is designed to provide training and support to CBSE school principals in the effective implementation of academic reforms and policies mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020.
The program is mandatory for all CBSE principals and covers various aspects of school management, including curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and teacher training. The objective of the program is to equip principals with the knowledge and skills required to lead their schools toward academic excellence and to ensure that the goals of NEP 2020 are effectively implemented in CBSE-affiliated schools.
PRAYOG Online Training Program Details
The PRAYOG online training program is a free two-day training webinar for all Principals of CBSE-affiliated schools across India. The duration of the program is three hours, spread across one and a half hours each day. The training sessions are scheduled from July to August.
The training program will cover various academic initiatives taken by CBSE, including Competency-Based Education, Experiential Learning, Art-Integrated Learning, Story-Telling, Sports Integrated Learning, and other initiatives such as SAFAL, HPC, and SQAA, among others.
The program will have assessment-integrated sessions on these topics, which will allow for a better understanding of these initiatives. The program will also help principals meet the mandatory 50-hour Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) requirement for a year, as the three hours devoted to PRAYOG will be counted towards this requirement.
PRAYOG Online Training Program Process
To participate in the PRAYOG online training program, principals are required to register with their cbseshiksha email ID. Once registered, they will receive a webinar joining link via email for the online training sessions. The schedule for the training program is region-wise, and principals will be allocated a specific time slot based on their region.
Principals need to ensure that they use the correct email ID while attending the online training sessions, as only the cbseshiksha email ID should be used to attend the online training sessions. This is because the certificate of participation will only be generated for those who log in through their cbseshiksha email ID.
The PRAYOG online training program is designed to be interactive and engaging. The sessions are conducted by experienced trainers who are experts in their respective fields. The program covers a wide range of topics, including leadership, pedagogy, assessment, and technology. The training sessions are designed to be practical and relevant, providing principals with actionable insights that they can apply in their schools.
